2140 Community Launches Virtual Gallery to Showcase 2140-Inspired Art

The 2140 Collective, part of the growing 2140 movement, has launched an exciting new virtual art gallery. This online platform allows artists within the 2140 community to showcase their work inspired by themes of freedom, privacy, decentralization, and of course Bitcoin.

The gallery provides an accessible way for creators to share their art with enthusiasts around the world. Spanning various mediums from paintings and sculptures, to music and multimedia art, the collection reflects the ethos and culture of the movement.

As a proponent of free speech and open expression, the collective welcomes contributors across the artistic spectrum. Currently, purchases can be made by connecting with artists via the Console app community. However, this is only the beginning and is due to go much further with an on-site marketplace in the works. making it a one-stop shop for discovering and collecting this unique art genre.

Gallery V1 includes media from the recent 2140 community launch event which took place on Jan 3rd 2024, at the ArtSect Gallery, Hackney, London. The event coincided with the 15th anniversary of Bitcoin and was a great success amongst local Bitcoiners and artists.

The launch event also featured an amazing live music performance from homegrown Hip-Hop artist G.O.L.D, showcasing some exclusive tracks from an upcoming collaborative project to be launched across the Bitcoin ecosystem.

The new 2140 Community Virtual Gallery is now live and open to all who wish to explore this emerging form. We invite everyone to visit the space, engage with contributing artists, and become part of the 2140 movement through art, music and culture.

You can jump in and check out the gallery via the link on our homepage and it is also accessible via the 2140 Collective’s website.
